following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Education
and Workforce

RESOLUTION
Honoring the 31st International President and CEO of Alpha Kappa Alpha
Sorority, Inc., Danette Anthony Reed.
Whereas Madam President Danette Anthony Reed, a 50-year member, ascended to
serve as the 31st International President and CEO and led the sorority
to greater heights; and
Whereas she has implemented initiatives that strengthen the sisterhood, empower
families, build economic wealth, enhance the environment, advocate for
social justice, and uplift local communities: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the House of Representatives congratulates and
commends Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., International President and
CEO Danette Anthony Reed for her exemplary service and leadership.
