Summary

The government would order the President to remove U.S. Armed Forces from hostilities with Iran, except for those needed to defend the U.S. or its allies from imminent attack. This would affect the lives of U.S. service members and their families, as well as the people of Iran. The resolution would require the President to follow specific procedures before using military force.
