IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

Mr. GORE introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred
to the Committee on the Judiciary
A BILL
For the relief of Sven O. Spjuth, M.D., Margareta Barbaro Eriksson Spjuth,
and Martin Sven Olof Spjuth.
  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United
  States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. LAWFUL ADMISSION TO THE UNITED STATES.
  In the administration of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Sven O. Spjuth,
  M.D., Margareta Barbaro Eriksson Spjuth, and Martin Sven Olof Spjuth shall
  be held and considered, upon payment of the required visa fee, to have
  been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of
  January 1, 1985.
SEC. 2. REDUCTION IN TOTAL NUMBER OF IMMIGRANT VISAS.
  Upon the granting of permanent residence to Sven O. Spjuth, M.D., Margareta
  Barbaro Eriksson Spjuth, and Martin Sven Olof Spjuth, as provided for in
  this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper officer to reduce
  by the proper numbers, during the current fiscal year or the fiscal year
  next following, the total number of immigrant visas which are available
  to natives of the country of the aliens' birth under section 203(a) of
  the Immigration and Nationality Act or, if applicable, the total number
  of immigrant visas which are made available to natives of the country of
  the aliens' birth under section 202(e) of such Act.
