bill; which was referred to the Committee on Agriculture

A BILL
To prohibit the Secretary of Agriculture from closing any research and
development facility of the Forest Service.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. PROHIBITION ON CLOSURE OF FOREST SERVICE RESEARCH AND
DEVELOPMENT FACILITIES.
The Secretary of Agriculture may not close any research and
development facility of the Forest Service, including through
implementation of a reorganization plan, except as expressly authorized
by an Act of Congress enacted after the date of enactment of this Act.
