IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES January 14 (legislative day, JANUARY 3), 1991 Mr. BURDICK introduced the following joint resolution; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary JOINT RESOLUTION To authorize the President to issue a proclamation designating each of the weeks beginning on November 24, 1991, and November 22, 1992, as `National Family Week'. Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the President is hereby authorized and requested to issue a proclamation designating each of the weeks beginning on November 24, 1991, and November 22, 1992, as `National Family Week', and inviting the Governors of the several States, the chief officials of local governments, and the people of the United States to observe such week with appropriate ceremonies and activities to honor the family. </pre>
