Mr. Breaux (for himself and Mr. Johnston) introduced the following
bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary

A BILL
To provide for 1 additional Federal judge for the middle district of
Louisiana and 1 less Federal judge for the eastern district of
Louisiana.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. FEDERAL JUDGES FOR THE MIDDLE AND EASTERN DISTRICTS OF
LOUISIANA.
The table in section 133(a) of title 28, United States Code, is
amended by amending the item relating to Louisiana to read as follows:
``Louisiana
``Eastern............... 12
``Middle................ 3
``Western............... 7.''.
