IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES January 14 (legislative day, JANUARY 3), 1991 Mr. INOUYE introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary A BILL For the relief of Sascha Glade Weinzheimer, Jean Weinzheimer Jansen, Doris Alexa Weinzheimer, Walter Richard Weinzheimer, and the estate of Walter Weinzheimer. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the following sums: $2,000 to Sascha Glade Weinzheimer of Punaluu, Hawaii, $2,000 to Jean Weinzheimer Jansen of Punaluu, Hawaii, $2,000 to Doris Alexa Weinzheimer of Punaluu, Hawaii, $2,000 to Walter Richard Weinzheimer of Zephyr Cove, Nevada, and $2,000 to the estate of Walter Weinzheimer. The payment of such sums shall be in full satisfaction of all claims of Sascha Glade Weinzheimer, Jean Weinzheimer Jansen, Doris Alexa Weinzheimer, Walter Richard Weinzheimer, and Walter Weinzheimer, deceased husband of Sascha Glade Weinzheimer and father of Jean Weinzheimer Jansen, Doris Alexa Weinzheimer, and Walter Richard Weinzheimer, for physical loss or destruction of property in the Philippines occurring after December 7, 1941 (Philippine time) and before October 1, 1945, in accordance with the provisions of the Philippine Rehabilitation Act of 1946 (50 App. 1751-1806) and for detention benefits arising under the War Claims Act of 1948 (50 App. 2001-2013) for the period beginning December 1942, and ending February 1945. SEC. 2. No part of the amount appropriated by the first section of this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Violation of the provisions of this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $5,000. </pre>
